Last month Rabbis Yitzchak Ezagui, Yehuda Chanowitz and Ari Feigenson traveled around south of Houston, Texas to reach out to Yidden. The Jewish Herald-Voice shared about their journey. Here is an excerpt:
On one of the visits, the young rabbis encountered a Jewish man with a fascinating background. He shared his story of how he had no idea of his Jewish roots until he was in college. After an emotional hour of speaking together, this man wrapped tefillin, performing the mitzvah for the first time in his life.
